A New Boarding House for Shrewsbury School to Become the School's First Girls Boarding House.
 
Designed to house 60 girls Mary Sidney Hall was the first girls boarding house to be built at Shrewsbury School.

The accommodation includes 24 en-suite rooms and dormitories for the Girls, in addition there is a house masters house, matrons flat and tutors flat.

Throughout the new building generous circulation space is provided to facilitate a variety of informal social spaces for the girls.
