The scheme creates a prominent building, with a strong architectural form in a fragmented urban context.
The circular sanctuary at the front of the site is intersected with four tower forms. A pyramid roof ‘floats’ above a glazed
clerestory. The sanctuary accommodates 120 people with overflow into the adjacent foyer area.
Social facilities are contained within a second built form surmounted by a pyramid roof. A variety of flexible meeting and activity spaces are to be provided, along with toilets, changing facilities and a kitchen.
